SPOT THE DECEPTION

DID YOU KNOW?

Lightning frequently strikes the same place, especially tall buildings.

Two Truths and a Lie: The Ultimate Deception Game

Do you have a nose for the truth? In Two Truths and a Lie, we present three fascinating statements. Two are absolute facts, but one is a clever fabrication. Your mission is to put on your detective hat, analyze the claims, and spot the single deception hiding in plain sight.

How to Play

1.

Read the three statements provided on the card carefully.

2.

Compare the facts and look for inconsistencies or 'too-good-to-be-true' claims.

3.

Select the statement you believe is the LIE.

4.

Reveal the answer to see if you caught the deception and read the fact-check explanation.

Detective Tips

Look for specifics: Lies often use overly precise numbers or dates to sound more convincing.

Reverse logic: If a statement sounds completely impossible, it's often actually the truth (reality is weird!).

Common myths: We often use popular misconceptions as our 'Lies'—if it sounds like an old wives' tale, it might be the fake.

Read the 'Did You Know?': Even if you miss the lie, the explanation is a great way to learn a random new fact.
